The terms, for a site that asks nothing of you

Last updated October 14, 2026

You can read this site. That is the whole agreement, with a few lines of fine print below.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to the website at thehumanstack.co and nothing else. By viewing the site you agree to them. If you do not, the remedy is simple: close the tab.

What the site is

The Human Stack is a personal project. This website describes it. There is no service offered here, no account, no software to download, no subscription, and no transaction of any kind. The platform the site describes runs privately, for one user, and is not available to the public.

Permitted use

You may view the site and link to it. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not scrape it at volume, mirror it, present it as your own, or use it to impersonate The Human Stack or its operator.

Content and ownership

The text, design, and the stacked-bars mark on this site belong to the operator of The Human Stack unless stated otherwise. Typefaces are served under their own licenses by Google Fonts. OpenClaw is referenced as the runtime the platform is built on; any OpenClaw name or mark belongs to its respective owners, and nothing here implies endorsement or affiliation.

No advice, no warranty

Everything on this site is descriptive. It is not financial, medical, legal, or technical advice, and it is not a promise that any described capability exists, works, or will continue to. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of The Human Stack is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. Since the site collects nothing and sells nothing, there is very little that could go wrong, and these terms exist to make that formal.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; their content and terms are their own.

Privacy

How the site handles data, which is to say barely at all, is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change when they are. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
